About Nathan Lodge
Nathan Lodge is the creator of Mines in the Vines, an event series he launched in 2023 with a simple but unconventional idea: move mining and investment conversations out of boardrooms and into the vineyards, where mines meet the vines.
What began as a bold concept has quickly become a fixture of Australia’s investor‑relations calendar, recognised for fostering meaningful engagement between listed companies, investors, and industry leaders in a setting that is both productive and memorable.
Under Nathan’s leadership, the series has evolved into two annual flagship events:
Mines in the Vines Investor Access Day, focused on Australia’s energies, materials, and industrial sectors; and
Stocks in the Vines Investor Access Day, a sector‑agnostic forum showcasing opportunities across healthcare, technology, real estate, financials, consumer sectors, and more.
Both events now attract high‑quality presenters and a sophisticated investor audience, reflecting Nathan’s deep industry networks and his commitment to elevating the investor–company dialogue.
Nathan’s work at Mines in the Vines is strengthened by his role at Lodge Partners, where he serves as Head of Melbourne, working alongside Richard Lodge and Head of Institutional, Paris Magdalinos. This experience ensures the event consistently draws a strong cohort of institutional investors and family offices, precisely the audience it was designed to serve.
He also brings the perspective of a founder. In 2019, Nathan established Securities Vault with the goal of reshaping the capital‑raising process in favour of issuing companies. Built on principles of flexibility, autonomy, and transparency, Securities Vault challenges traditional models that often limit issuer control and visibility.
Across all his ventures, Nathan’s focus remains clear: creating environments, whether in capital markets or among the vines, where companies can tell their story, investors can engage meaningfully, and genuine value can be created for both sides.
